CPS Blotter: E-bike theft leads to theft charge for Cornwall man

Kevin Tessier, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on September 27 and charged with motor vehicle theft. Cornwall Police allege that on June 27 the man took an electric bicycle that did not belong to him without the owner’s permission and that police were contacted to investigate. He was taken into custody on September 27, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 30.

MALICIOUSNESS OF LESS THAN $ 5,000, FORCED ENTRY

A 28 year old Cornwall man was arrested on September 27 and charged with break and enter and mischief under $ 5,000. Police allege that on September 26, the man forced his way into his sister’s residence, causing damage to a door. The same day, the man went to the police headquarters to deal with the case. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 30. His name was not disclosed as it would identify the victim in the case.

DO NOT GO TO COURT

Rebecca Kargus, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on September 27 and charged with failing to appear in court. Police allege that on September 21, the woman failed to appear in court for possession of a controlled substance offense and that police were contacted to investigate. On the same day, she went to police headquarters where she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 9.
