Lidl Cambridgeshire jobs: Supermarket hiring new positions in Cambridge, Peterborough, Wisbech and March

Lidl offers a range of jobs at its stores in Cambridgeshire and at its warehouse in Peterborough.

The positions available are a shift manager in March and customer assistants at Lidl stores in Cambridge, Peterborough and across the border in Haverhill, Suffolk. Further afield, Lidl also needs customer assistants in Bedford and a store manager in Stamford.

Lidl says customer assistants will be paid a minimum rate of £10.10 per hour, rising to £11.40 depending on experience, with 30 days vacation per year (prorated). Employees also benefit from a 10% discount in store and additional discounts on outings and movie tickets.

Customer Assistant (Cambridge, Peterborough, Haverhill)

Salary: £10.10 up to £11.40, depending on experience

Job description:

  • Unpack stock as deliveries arrive in store
  • Provide excellent customer service at checkouts
  • Help customers with any questions or queries, and locate items in the store
  • Make sure the bakery stays stocked by cooking fresh produce
  • Ensuring shelves look good, checking sell-by dates, ensuring quality and freshness for our customers

Salary: £10.90 rising to £14.40 per hour.

Job description:

  • Choose a variety of products, including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items

Job description:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch for approximately 100 people per meal slot, ensuring enough food is prepared for everyone
